Meet your Manager

Open Today

09:00 - 20:00

My name is Alan Barker and I was appointed as the new Centre Manager for Broughton in March 2016.  I joined the business at a very exciting time as the park is currently undergoing a major multi-million pound redevelopment programme. This will completely transform the entire look of the centre with some fantastic placemaking improvements along with exciting new stores which will only enhance our customers’ shopping experience.

One thing that I really love about working at Broughton is its people. We may attract over 10 million customers each year but the place has a great community feel about it; you quite often seen customers gathering and having a catch up with family and friends.  The team and I have some really good relationships within the local area, which for me makes the job even more worthwhile.

I live in Cheshire and I have two children, Paige and Alfie.  I enjoy spending as much time as I can with the family, such as going out for meals together, watching movies or travelling. The one thing we love doing as a family is going to theme parks - we are annual Merlin Pass holders and there isn’t a ride in the UK we’ve not been on! A short while ago I also developed an interest in learning to fly.
